Dr. Ashish Kumar is a Professor of Finance at the University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, located in Dwarka, New Delhi. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from the Department of Commerce at Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, in 2010, specializing in Financial Markets, Financial Economics, and Sustainable Finance.

Prof. Kumar is a prolific researcher with a strong academic portfolio, having authored and published over 70 papers in indexed journals. His scholarly contributions extend beyond research to include extensive involvement in Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), and various value-added programs, enriching the educational experience for students and professionals alike.

He has chaired sessions and presented papers on pertinent topics in finance and management at various national and international conferences. His expertise is also recognized as a resource person for numerous academic events, contributing significantly to advancing knowledge in his field.
