Dr. Pankaj Singh

Dr. Pankaj Singh is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Biotechnology Program, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, since 2019. He has more than nine years teaching experience at graduate and post graduate levels. He joined the Department of Biochemistry at Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya as Ph.D. scholar in 2008, and worked extensively on antioxidant and hepatoprotective activities of medicinal plants. He has also awarded Research Fellowship under the UGC program of “Research Fellowship in Sciences for Meritorious Students” from March, 2008 to March 2013. His research interest is in Nutraceuticals/Clinical Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has published 46 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, contributed 02 books (Springer and CABI) and 18 chapters in various books published by International publishers. He participated in various national and international scientific conferences and symposia and presented 10 research papers. He has guided six postgraduate students for his dissertation work. Dr. Singh is actively involved in various Editorial activities like Academic Editor, Plos One; Guest Associate Editor, Nutrition and Metabolism; Review Editor in Frontiers in Agronomy; Associate Editor, Open Journal of Food and Nutrition; Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine; Editorial Board Member of BMC Public Health, Discover Applied Sciences, Current Bioactive Compounds and Current Nutraceuticals and reviewer for many journal.
