Rosmayati Mohemad is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. She received her PhD degree in Computer Science form the National University of Malaysia in 2013. Currently, she is the Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affair) of Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics. Despite her administrative duties at faculty, she has also been trusted by the university as an internal assessor for evaluating the university’s academic programs since 2016. She is also a university’s’ internal auditor for Academic Quality and ISO/IEC 27001:2003 (Information Security and Management System). Besides, she also has been appointed as an external examiner for full accreditation under Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT).

Her research interest is in information system and knowledge engineering, specialized in decision support system and ontology modelling. This also includes research contributions in the design, development and evaluation of intelligent decision support system for analysing and improving decision making processes in various domain such as education, procurement, forensics and crime investigation. She has cumulatively obtained more than RM962k of research grants funding either as principal researcher or co-researcher.

She has actively published more than 90 scientific papers in refereed journals, books, book chapter and conference at both international and national level. To date, she has produced forty-eight (48) peer-reviewed journal articles with thirty-eight (38) of them were indexed either by Scopus or ISI. She also has authored and co-authored three (3) books and four (4) chapters in book. Other than that, she has presented and published thirty-two (32) conference proceedings, one (1) extended abstract, three (3) book of abstracts and three (3) posters.

Rosmayati is a reviewer for several reputed journals such as IEEE Access, Journal of King Saud University – Computer and Information Sciences, Journal of Universal Computer Science, Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS), Journal of Civil Engineering and Management, International Journal of Software Engineering and Computer Systems and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Undergraduate Research. She also has contributed as a reviewer to various established conferences.

Throughout her 19 years’ experience as an academician, she has taught various Computer Science courses such as Computer System & Application, Design & Problem Solving, ObjectOriented Programming, Programming, Java Programming 1, Web Programming 2, Web based Application Development, Information Structure, Software Metrics, Software Requirement Engineering, Maritime Information System and Database. Her teachings for most of the courses were rated as excellent by the students. Concurrently, she is also conducting research in her field of interest through undergraduate and postgraduate students’ supervision. Forty-seven (47) undergraduate students were graduated under her main supervision, and nine (9) students are in progress. Meanwhile, one (1) master student was graduated under her supervision as the main supervisor, and four (4) Ph.D. students were graduated under her co-supervision. Currently, she is supervising five (5) Ph.D. students, and one Master student, who are in progress.

She also participated and won gold medallist in numerous product’ invention and innovation exhibitions at international and national level such as International Conference and Exposition on Inventions by Institutions of Higher Learning 2019 (PECIPTA’19), 29th International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition 2018 (ITEX’18), 1st International Conference on Design, Engineering and Computer Sciences and Minggu Penyelidikan dan Inovasi.
