This award honors an exceptional Vice Chancellor who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and institutional development, significantly contributing to higher education.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Transformational Leadership – Proven track record in institutional governance, policy-making, faculty development, and fostering innovation to drive academic excellence.
  • Academic & Research Excellence – Significant contributions through publications, fellowships, patents, awards, research grants, books, and memberships in academic societies, reflecting a strong impact on education and research.
  • Institutional Growth & Development – Played a pivotal role in enhancing university rankings, achieving accreditations (NAAC, NBA), building industry partnerships, and improving infrastructure, ensuring long-term institutional success.

Application Requirements:

  • Evidence-Based Achievements – Submission of research publications, patents, research grants, awards, fellowships, and professional memberships that highlight contributions to academic excellence and institutional growth.
  • Leadership & Institutional Contributions – Documentation of leadership roles in governance, policy-making, faculty development, and enhancement of academic programs, ensuring long-term institutional success.
  • Student Success & Academic Excellence – Verification for students ranking in the top 3 positions in university examinations, to be submitted on the official letterhead from the Head of the Institution or HOD, specifying the student’s rank.
  • Additional Noteworthy Contributions – Any impactful initiatives, collaborations, or innovations in education, research, or administration that distinguish the applicant’s leadership in higher education.

Supporting Documentation:

Proof of Leadership Achievements– Reports on institutional development, research grants, and policy reforms.

Institutional Endorsements– Letters from board members, faculty, or academic peers validating leadership contributions.

Publications & Recognition– List of research papers, rankings, media mentions, or awards, etc.
